4K IPTV that is actually 4K

Built for Ultra HD, not relabelled for it

Every part of the chain has to hold up for a 4K picture to reach your screen. Here is what we actually run.

Native 2160p sources

Where a broadcaster transmits in UHD, we carry the UHD feed — not a 1080p stream with a 4K badge. Channels that are genuinely 2160p are labelled as such in the guide.

HEVC / H.265 encoding

4K at a sane bitrate needs HEVC. Our UHD feeds are H.265 so a 2160p stream fits in roughly 25 Mbps instead of the 60+ that H.264 would demand.

60fps on live sport

Fast motion is where low frame rates fall apart. Major sport is carried at 50/60fps where the source provides it, which is what makes a ball trackable.

Adaptive fallback

If your line dips, the player steps down to FHD rather than freezing. You lose resolution for a moment instead of losing the match.

Load-balanced edges

Multiple regional servers with automatic failover. When one edge saturates at peak time, your session moves without you touching the remote.

Honest labelling

HD, FHD and UHD are marked separately in the channel list. You always know what you are watching, which is rarer in this industry than it should be.

What 4K actually demands from your setup

SD vs HD vs Full HD vs 4K resolution comparison

A 2160p frame carries 8,294,400 pixels against Full HD's 2,073,600 — four times the data, every frame. That only reaches your eyes if four things line up: the source is genuinely UHD, the codec is efficient, your connection is fast and steady, and your device can decode HEVC in hardware.

Miss any one and you get an expensive-looking 1080p picture. This is the part most providers skip, so here are the real numbers rather than a marketing claim.

25 Mbpsper simultaneous 4K stream. 50 Mbps if two people watch UHD at once.
HEVC decodeFirestick 4K/Max, Android TV 9+, 2017+ Samsung and LG, Apple TV 4K, NVIDIA Shield.
Wired if possibleEthernet on the main TV removes the single most common cause of 4K buffering.
A 4K panelObvious, but worth checking: a 1080p television cannot display a 2160p feed.

Live sport

Live sport, at the frame rate it was shot

Sport is the hardest test of any IPTV service and the reason most people upgrade to 4K in the first place. Big fixtures run on redundant sources so a saturated feed rolls over mid-match instead of freezing on a corner.

Channels

One line. Every screen that can handle it.

Your subscription is a standard M3U / Xtream Codes line, so it plays in whichever IPTV app is best on your hardware. Nothing proprietary, nothing to send back. Devices that decode HEVC in hardware will play the UHD feeds; older hardware falls back to FHD automatically.

Why most "4K IPTV" is not 4K

The phrase has been diluted to the point of meaninglessness. A provider can take a 1080p source, upscale it to a 2160p container, and technically describe the output as 4K. Your player will report 3840×2160. The picture will contain no more real detail than the 1080p feed it came from.

There is a simple test. Pause on a detailed static shot — a crowd, a text graphic, a grass pitch — and look closely. Genuine UHD resolves individual faces and blades; upscaled 1080p turns them into soft mush no matter what the resolution readout says.

We label feeds honestly for this reason. A channel marked UHD in our guide is carrying a genuine 2160p source. Channels that only exist in 1080p are marked FHD, because calling them 4K would be a lie you would discover in about thirty seconds.

The bandwidth maths, without the hand-waving

A single HEVC-encoded 2160p stream needs roughly 25 Mbps of sustained throughput. Not peak speed on a speed test — sustained, while everything else in your house is also using the connection.

So a household running one 4K stream, a tablet on HD and a games console downloading in the background wants something north of 50 Mbps to stay comfortable. Two simultaneous 4K streams alone want 50 Mbps before you add anything else.

Stability matters more than the headline figure. A rock-solid 40 Mbps line outperforms a 300 Mbps line that drops packets every few minutes, because streaming punishes jitter far more than it punishes modest speed.

Which devices genuinely play 4K

Hardware HEVC decoding is the dividing line. A device without it will either refuse the stream or try to decode in software, which on a streaming stick means stutter and heat.

Safe choices: Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max, Apple TV 4K, NVIDIA Shield, most Android TV boxes from 2019 onward, and Samsung or LG smart televisions from roughly 2017. The basic Fire TV Stick (non-4K) tops out at 1080p regardless of the feed.

If you are buying hardware specifically for this, an Android TV box with wired Ethernet is the most reliable option at the price. Streaming sticks are convenient but their Wi-Fi radios are usually the weakest link in the chain.

What you get with X4K IPTV

22,000+ live channels across more than 60 countries, with UK, US, Canadian and European line-ups carried in full rather than sampled. A 120,000-title on-demand library sits alongside them in the same app, updated continuously.

Every plan carries the entire catalogue. There is no premium tier that unlocks sport and no surcharge for UHD — the price differences reflect how long you want the line and how many screens stream at once, and nothing else.

Activation is usually inside ten minutes, support runs around the clock on WhatsApp and live chat, and nothing renews automatically. You pay once for the term you chose.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

Is this real 4K or upscaled 1080p?

Real 2160p wherever the broadcaster transmits in UHD, and we label those channels as UHD in the guide. Channels that only exist in 1080p are marked FHD rather than being dressed up as 4K. You can verify this yourself during the free test — pause on a detailed shot and look at the fine detail.

How much internet speed do I need for 4K IPTV?

About 25 Mbps of sustained throughput per simultaneous 4K stream, and roughly 50 Mbps if two people will watch UHD at the same time. Stability matters more than peak speed: a steady 40 Mbps beats an erratic 300 Mbps.

Which devices support 4K streams?

Anything with hardware HEVC decoding — Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max, Apple TV 4K, NVIDIA Shield, Android TV boxes from 2019 onward, and Samsung or LG smart TVs from around 2017. Older hardware still works; it just receives the FHD feed.

How fast is activation?

Most lines are live within ten minutes of payment. You receive your username, password and server URL by email along with a setup guide for the device you chose.

Can I watch on more than one screen?

Yes — every plan scales from one to five simultaneous streams. Each one runs independently, so different people can watch different channels at the same time.

Do I need a VPN?

Usually not. A minority of ISPs throttle streaming ports, and a VPN restores full speed in those cases. If a fast connection still buffers steadily, that is the first thing worth testing.

Is there a contract?

No contract and no automatic renewal. You pay once for the term you picked; when it ends the line simply stops until you choose to extend it.

What if a channel stops working?

Tell us and we re-point it, usually the same day. Support runs 24/7 on WhatsApp and live chat, and you can request channels we do not currently carry.
